The role We deliver creative, flexible, person-centred and individualised support to people living in 3 shared residential homes. The services are located centrally in Harrow and Brent. There are several public transport links in the area, so drivers are not essential. If you are a driver, free parking is available. You will be providing support to adults with autism, learning disabilities, mobility issues, and dysphasia. This will be under one roof rather than door to door. We support individuals to live independently, taking them out into their local community to visit day centres, arts & craft events, musical theatre trips, skills academies, museums and exhibitions. You will also help to arrange and partake in holidays to the coast, cities and places of interest. Previous experience is desirable for this position although full training will be provided. As part of your training you will receive guidance and support from a dynamic and experienced team of support workers. This will involve being allocated with a ‘buddy’ (an experienced member of staff showing you the ropes, who will be on hand to support you all the way). Real Life Options offers flexible employment opportunities. You will work as part of a team with other support workers on a shared rota and will include shift working, including evenings, sleepovers, nights and weekends.
