We are a leading group of London teaching hospital consultants with an international presence, operating within the private healthcare sector and we are currently seeking a Business Development Manager to join our team on a permanent basis. Located in London, the successful applicant will be tasked with growing the current business, developing new service offerings, and securing new business opportunities with other medical providers and allied health professionals. Driving License: You must have a full, valid UK/EU Driving License Academic Requirements: University degree (any) - Marketing, Life sciences, Pharmaceutical, Business or Engineering degree desirable. Language Requirements: Fluency in English. IT Skills: You must have excellent skills in MS Office including Excel. Experience: you have 3-5 years of successful business development experience in a highly customer focused company. Year on year proven success in sales, preferably in the area of private healthcare, capital sales and/or the medical device industry. Strong commercial/financial acumen. Experience in customer acquisition, shows ability to seek new business Excellent interpersonal, communication and negotiation skills. Ability to build strong business relations and communicate effectively with stakeholders at all levels. A consultative, collaborative, solution-driven and partnership-focused approach. A highly motivated and driven self-starter with the ability to work both autonomously and within a team environment. Key Activities & Accountabilities Driving growth through active and constant customer engagement Customer selection , targeted sales approach Plan and execute on a quarterly and annual business plan. Strong management of existing revenue streams and customers as well as driving acquisition across the territory generating growth. Develop and implement sales and marketing strategy and communications activity to drive referrals, develop the business of new service lines and directly support the company’s growth strategy. Efficient control of all resources and materials. Customer care for physicians and hospital administration with the goal of achieving qualitative and sales-oriented consultation. Achieving the sales and financial targets. Managing contracts and pricing agreements. Support in-person customer experience of our products. Provide support to, and proactively work, with finance, operations and clinical colleagues in growing the company’s consultant and service portfolio. Attend networking, training and promotional events in line with organisational requirements. Document customer requirements and effectively communicate these to the management team. Manage internal and external communications, include website content management. Maintain records of marketing activity, producing regular reports and analysis to inform and monitor the effectiveness of marketing and communications activity and identify activity and trends. Salary: Base salary circa £35K commission This is a field- based position with significant time required in market. Hours will be varied and flexible according to demands and deadlines. 40-50% travel will be required to achieve business objectives Work From Home: Occasional Travel Percentage: 50%
