Portfolio Analyst - Liquid Credit Altus Partners has partnered with a Global Asset Manager that is looking to bring on an Immediately available Middle Office Analyst to support the Portfolio Manager in the enhancement and maintenance of the specific data base. The business is growing rapidly in the Private Markets space. The role is initially a FTC with the scope to go permanent. The Requirements The role will offer exposure to global teams. This individual will have a deep understanding of Credit with a focus on loans and CLOs. The environment is fast-paced and will offer the individual a deep understanding of portfolio management within the leveraged loan market space What it's about: Support the management and the investment team in the enhancement and maintenance of the credit data base Support the debt portfolio team in the pre-trade security set-up, post-trade execution and administrative tasks Maintain portfolio data integrity Support the investment team and debt team in the preparation of monthly reports for the funds and administrative tasks Assist in the daily fund cash reconciliations including the coordination with the various internal and external parties Build and maintain relationships with external counterparties including broker dealers, fund custodians and administrators. Candidate Specification Degree Educated with a minimum 2.1 - Accounting, Finance and/or a Quantitative Degree is a preference 1 - 5 years of experience in a trade support role Knowledge of the Credit products is desirable Proficiency in Excel - V lookup and Pivot tables for data analysis and reporting. Strong analytical and interpersonal skills with attention to detail Able to complete projects on time and accurately and be able to multi-task Additional European languages desirable Capable to work independently and meet deadlines Ability to manage external parties in a professional manner Team player
