Care Assistant (Nights) based at Norwood, Ipswich Available Hours: Permanent - Part Time - 22 hours per week (Nights) Shift Details - 2 x 11 waking night shifts per week to include every other weekend. Commutable from Hevingham, Blofield, Long Stratton & Honingham. Are you a compassionate individual who would like to make a difference to the lives of older people? MHA are looking for a committed, hardworking individual's to join our thriving team at Norwood. The role requires individuals who: are flexible in their approach and sensitive to the needs of residents enjoy the company of older people have a willingness to learn and develop work well as part of a team have the ability to form positive relationships with residents, their families and professional colleagues You will be responsible for supporting older people to live their daily lives to the full, assisting with their physical and personal needs to enhance each individual's well-being. Norwood is situated within a quiet suburban area on Park Road in Ipswich. The Norwood Charitable Trust, established by MHA supporters Thomas England and his wife, made a large single gift to MHA in the form of a grant of £200,000. This was used to add a new, purpose-built wing to the original building. For this reason, when the home was opened in 1979, it took on the new name, Norwood.
