Overview

Riverside have a new opportunity for a Floating Support Assistant working full-time, on a permanent basis. You’ll earn £18,135 per year. Your working pattern will be Monday to Friday 9-5 Who you’ll be helping Engage Leeds is a city-wide service that is split in to 3 geographical areas. The wedge Riverside operates in covers all of South Leeds. The Engage Leeds service is commissioned by Leeds City Council and its key aim is to support anyone in Leeds over the age of 18 who is struggling with their housing and have support needs. We work with people from all tenures including council housing, housing associations, private landlords and people who own their own homes by providing a visiting support service. While Riverside does have roles for Support Workers, this is a role perfect for those looking for care work. What will you do? As a trusted member of our team, responsible for assisting in the provision of a support service for Riverside’s vulnerable clients and with day to day delivery of support services to clients in their own homes across a defined geographical area whilst ensuring a professional and supportive approach is maintained at all times. Day to day Your key responsibilities as an Engage Leeds Floating Support Assistant will include: • Provide community based support to clients in their own homes, as part of a team. • Act as an initial point of reference on the phone, or in an office area as required. • Carry out day to day office administrative functions to ensure that all records and files are maintained and held securely and that the confidentiality of information is upheld. • Have an awareness of the clients support needs, working, under direction, supporting clients to help them achieve their agreed outcomes. • Contribute to the formulation and delivery of person centred support plans. • Assisting clients with day-to-day support and tenancy issues For a deeper understanding of your responsibilities, take a look at the job description linked below.
