The role As a Senior Floating Support Worker, you will line manage and motivate Floating Support Workers to meet their objectives and deputise for the Floating Support Manager in their absence. You will assist in managing an effective referrals process and carry out regular one2ones with Floating Support staff. You will also manage a varied, short term case load with conflicting deadlines and ensure that all young people work towards an agreed support plan which is regularly reviewed and adapted to ensure that they meet their individual needs and goals. You will offer realistic advice and prevent homelessness wherever possible. You will develop and maintain smooth, accurate pathways on the database for gathering and maintaining all relevant service user and statistical information as required accurately and within the specified deadline. You will assist with other hyh services cover where required. Key requirements We're looking for someone with the desire to work with vulnerable and complex young people to achieve positive outcomes and create professional working relationships with young people. You will have the ability to work alone and as part of a team and be able to confidently deal with difficult situations, valuing the importance of building positive customer relationships to ensure effective service delivery. You will be able to attend training needed for the role and have a strong commitment to the promotion of equality and diversity. You will hold an NVQ Level in Health & Social Care. This role requires a full driver's license and access to a vehicle. This role is also subject to an enhanced DBS check. First stage interview will be conducted virtually via Microsoft Teams.
