Overview
Support Worker We are recruiting a support worker to work within the Tunbridge Wells area. This role is to work with 1 individual who has her own support team and own flat. The person you will support has a learning idsability, physical disabiity and other complex needs but is a very active individual who loves engaging and doing activities in and outside her home. Are You: Reliable - the person you support, their family and your team will quickly learn that they can count on you. Creative - you see alternative ways of getting things done effectively. Determined - you don’t give up when things get difficult. Enthusiastic, willing to get involved in a variety of activities and be willing to drive the mobility vehicle? These qualities are essential to the role, as together they mean you will be able to give outstanding support, empowering people to make choices and … Participate in social, leisure and work activities Carry out everyday tasks, such as personal care, cleaning or going shopping Learn new skills and reach their full potential What They offer you Working shifts; Monday to Sunday on a 7 day rota covering usually early mornings, late and night shifts 7am - 2:30pm, 2pm - 9:30pm and 9:15pm - 07:15am (subject to change).
