Warehouse/Transport Administrator Permanent Role Benefits: 28 days holiday, Healthcare, Xmas vouchers, workplace pension, Death in service benefit , Free Parking, casual dress code £18,000 starting salary Wellingborough Monday to Friday Hours 40 hours working flexible times to suit between 07.30 and 17.00 Due to an internal promotion a permanent vacancy has arisen for a Warehouse/Transport Administrator to work for this successful global Engineering company within their UK offices in Wellingborough where they employ under 30 staff. The ideal Warehouse/Transport Administrator will be able to work on their own initiative in a fast paced busy environment being able to prioritise. The Warehouse/ Transport Administrator will be computer literate on Word and Excel to an intermediate or advanced level. A good telephone manner is essential as the role will require communicating with Delivery Drivers, Customers and Booking of transport. Duties of the Warehouse/Transport Administrator will include: Printing and checking of Shipping and Return documents Booking of Transport ( Lorries, Pallets and parcels) Accepting and sorting of Post Updating Excel Spreadsheets Reviewing Shipping schedules with Supervisor daily Printing of Pick lists Updating customers with their shipment delivery dates Liaising with Customers regarding their requirements Booking in Visitors and Drivers at Reception Calculating weekly warehouse Hours worked Keeping records of staff holiday and sickness As the role is working with Drivers , Warehouse staff and other internal departments. The Transport Administrator will need to have a good sense of humour. Dress code is casual as there will be a requirement to go into the Warehouse area at times.
