Our client is a growing team and have an opportunity for a mid-level developer who wants to expand their experience. About Us Our client collaborates with a wide variety of clients to create entirely bespoke web applications, which means you gain exposure to lots of different industries - and challenges to solve. As a small(ish) and close-knit team, they work with big names such as Experian and small entrepreneurial companies looking to disrupt a market. They provide expertise that start-ups don’t have in-house and the agility that large corporates often lose. As well as developing new products and business solutions for our customers they also create our own products that we take to the market directly. These are a further opportunity for us to test new technologies and showcase what we can do. Technology The stack is primarily .NET/C# on the backend with Angular or React on the front-end, though we do have variations on that. Everything is on Azure, using a wide range of the available technologies. A Microsoft Gold Partner, who works very closely with Microsoft and on new Azure technologies before they are released to the general public. You would be part of a team who constantly evaluate and use new technologies. These currently include microservices, Kubernetes, React, Node, web components and .Net Core. We also benefit from automation tools such as Azure DevOps and Greenkeeper to keep things as efficient as possible. Candidate Requirements The ideal candidate is someone that’s comfortable with full stack technologies, including C#, JavaScript, TypeScript (but please don’t be put off if you aren’t an absolute expert in all of them). Be responsible for your own development tasks, delivering them on time and within agreed budgets. Carry out code reviews and submit pull requests to be reviewed by the team. Handover developed user stories for acceptance testing. Participate in technical design and planning. Continually look at & assess new technologies and patterns.
