Overview

Position: Clinical Specialist Advisor (Tissue Viability and Pressure Relief) Location: Berkshire, Theale Salary: £31,500 - £41,500 per annum Hours: 37.5 hours per week (Mon-Fri, 9-17:30, 30 mins. lunch) NRS Healthcare is the UK's leading provider of Community Equipment Services, we deliver complete end-to-end services through all stages of equipment provision and recycling. Clinical Specialist Advisor duties include but not limited to: To act as a resource and provide expert independent and impartial clinical knowledge and advice, regarding pressure care and nursing equipment (including beds) to prescribers of all disciplines across Berkshire and to NRS Healthcare. To provide expert clinical knowledge and advice within NRS Healthcare nationally, developing the service as required. To provide training for prescribers and NRS Staff as required by the contract and by NRS Healthcare. To ensure standards of advice and services are in line with national and local best clinical practice and evidence base available This role will work closely and in a complementary way with the NRS Occupational Therapist to ensure advice and guidance provided covers all equipment types and to promote a best value approach across Berkshire. (Each role covering their respective areas of expertise and both working as a cohesive team). Clinical Specialist Advisor Keys Skills and competencies include: Leadership skills and recent project management Evidence of excellent presenting / training skills Ability to adapt to changing demands and priorities Ability to quickly analyse and process differing professional opinions, maintaining a clear head and clarity about outcomes needed to progress.
