Overview

I have an amazing opportunity for you to work as a Care Assistant, Full Time & Part Time positions available, in an Independent Living Service for Elderly service users near Honiton, Devon. In your role as a Care Assistant you will provide support to residents but also, when needed, provide support to local residents as well. You will ensure that the service users enjoy their lives to the full and support their social, emotional, physical and intellectual well being. Day To Day Duties include; -Personal care -Mobility Assistance -Medication -Cleaning & General Housework -Adhere to individual care plans If you, are kind, passionate, caring and can form great relationships, then apply Full Time position, working an average of 35 hours a week. Part Time position, working 20-30 hours a week. The shift patterns are flexible. Whether you are happy to do long days or slightly shorter days, your needs will be accommodated Pay; Hourly rate of £9.12 p/h Experience is not essential in this role, but rather the focus falls on the type of person you are. However, you will need to be willing to complete your NVQ Level 2 Health and Social Care once you have started employment. Also, due to the location of the home, you will need to be a driver as the public transport is limited. Ideally, you will be able to work within a team and to be able to understand and empathise with the needs of elderly people and lastly, be able to communicate and interact well with people.
