Role: Learning Disabilities Support Worker Location: Royston Salary: £17,745 – £19,671 (£15 supplement per night shift) Hours: 39hrs per week, 12 hour shifts About Us: We offer a supportive living and learning environment for young adults with complex learning disabilities and associated needs. We have carefully designed specialist facilities designed to meet the needs of our service users. We provide support through the terrifying transition from education to adulthood for our residents and ensure they have person-centred care to promote independence. We do this successfully by having an amazingly caring team who support each other as much as they do our residents. We are looking to expand our family About The Role: As a Support Worker, your main duties will be to provide high levels of care for residents. This will include washing, dressing, socialising and assisting with their learning. Our aim is to teach our young people the life skills they can take with them through adulthood. No two days will be the same in this varied role Other activities you will be involved in is assisting in hydrotherapy and rebound therapy sessions. You will build strong relationships with our residents and will support them as individuals by adapting to their needs . Essentially, you will help create a fun, safe and supportive environment for our young people to learn the life skills they will need in adulthood. Why Work With US? We will fully train you to feel safe and comfortable in your role and will continue to develop your skills and qualifications whilst you are with us.
