Overview

I have a client looking for an internal IT support engineer in Sevenoaks. Salary: £25,000- £26,000 Location: Sevenoaks Permanent/Full time role Benefits: 25 days holiday, Training and Development opportunities, Pension Scheme You will be professional and friendly with an ability to provide clear and simple guidance to people with varying levels of Computer literacy and be able to develop positive and trusting relationships with your internal clients. Your tasks include: • The first point of contact for troubleshooting and be the main point of help • Administration of servers and perform fault finding through remote services • Provide advice on new hardware/software to the company on what is most appropriate to the business • Setting up and configuring new laptops, desktops and mobile devices • Setting up new users and disabling expired accounts • Manage and record IT equipment with Site teams They are looking for someone who has: • Information Technology qualification • Knowledge of computer hardware including servers, desktop PCs, laptops and mobile devices • Experience of installing , using and administering one or more computer operating systems such as Microsoft Windows • Experience of using an IT service management system to manage, allocate and monitor support tasks • Working knowledge of Microsoft SharePoint • Proven IT Support in similar post • Strong communication, decision-making and organisational skills If you are interested, please apply with your most up to date CV attached.
