Overview

Our award winning, nationwide client are looking to add an experienced Accounts Assistant to their head office in central Gloucester. In a diverse role you will be primarily looking after the purchase ledger requirements but will also have wider exposure to the all-round accounts function. Roles and responsibilities: Looking after a variety of functions in the team. Duties will include but not be limited to: •Process all overhead invoices and credits ensuring appropriate authorisation is received •Reconcile all accounts to supplier statements. •Liaising with suppliers via telephone and email to resolve any queries •Advising suppliers of payments and issue remittance advices. •Bacs payments •Daily reconciliation of company bank accounts. •Monthly Reconciliation of Company Credit Cards •Management of employee expenses making sure these are all paid monthly. Required skills/experience: It is important that you have previous experience of a similar role, confident user of MO including Excel. Ability to work closely with suppliers and address any issues or demands, show strong organisational skills managing your own workload. Team fit: You will need to be team orientated, results driven, confident and resourceful with a can do attitude when issues arise.
