Web Developer (C#, React/ Angular, WebAPI 2, Azure) - Beeston, Nottingham - up to £38k Summary: Role: Be a talented member of a medium-sized development team, focussing on development using C#, ASP.net MVC, SQL Server, some React and Azure. Salary: £30K - £38K 25 days holiday, pension, free parking, easily commutable via public transport, and flexible hours. Requirements: Demonstrable development experience with C# and the Microsoft web stack, with a desire to be part of a tight-knit team and produce great solutions Beneficial: Any knowledge or experience with Azure or other cloud technologies or React. Location: Beeston, Nottingham. Working with a fabulous company in Nottingham, I am looking for a talented and enthusiastic C# Developer to join their growing team The reason for this role is that the company has recently won a number of meaty contracts; they haven’t got enough capacity existing in-house to get everything done that they want to, so are bringing more people on board. They are a company that works with a number of different clients- they aren’t a software house though- so the work is varied and interesting. It encourages a collaborative culture where everyone works together on a number of different tasks concurrently, so it’s important that everyone there is easy to get along with, and works well together- and they do They have a beautiful office to work in, and some very intelligent and experienced people there that you can both learn from and contribute your ideas to- it’s encouraged and appreciated. They look after their team, and have a really low staff turnover as a result- they go on team social events frequently (sometimes, it’s just a trip down to the pub, and sometimes it’s a team day out), bond inside and outside work, and have an open and friendly work culture. Technically, I am looking for someone with a great background in C# web development; with demonstrable experience of being in a dedicated developer role, using C# as your primary language. At a glance, the skills you’ll need are below. Skills-wise, you’ll rock it with: C#/ ASP.NET MVC 5/ Web API 2 / WCF Advanced knowledge of MS SQL/ SQL Server Good knowledge of HTML5/CSS3/JavaScript - they use a mix of React and Angular; if you’ve used either of these, that’s a bonus Use of source code version control; we use Github Azure; if you’ve used this before, that’s a bonus, not essential Good knowledge of Windows Server, IIS, SSL, DNS Role-wise, they would like you to: Write clean, modular, reusable, and well-documented code Liaise with your team and the company at large to create the best solutions for our lovely clients Test, recommend and implement new technologies Keep up to date with the latest software development technologies and methodologies Help out with technical quotes, analysis and specifications when required The salary on offer for the role is around the £30-38k mark, plus: Benefits-wise, we offer in return: Flexible working hours A beautiful office to work in Shower facilities Free parking 25 days’ annual leave, increases by 1 day with each year of service Workplace pension Chance to work on high profile projects, with cool tech, from our global client list Enhanced benefits on performance Very little, adhoc support The role is based Beeston, Nottingham.
