Overview
The company: Leading independent insurance broker, who have an excellent reputation in the market, currently seek a Broker Claims Handler to join their expanding team. This chartered firm have developed strong values and deal with a broad range of clients. The role: You will be responsible for handling property claims for a broad range of clients of varying premium sizes. There is delegated authority with a number of clients on property claims to the value of £5K, so these will be handled from cradle to grave and claims over this amount will handled by insurers. This broker place an emphasis on their value added claims service, so it is expected you will play an active role in the handling of all claims. You will also have the opportunity to handle claims from other classes in time. Skills / experience required: To apply for this role, you are required to have property claims experience, gained from a Broker, Insurer or TPA. You will have excellent customer service experience, with the ability to manage and develop relationships with clients and strong attention to detail.
