Overview

Synchro are currently working exclusively on site with a household brand in Cheltenham and we are recruiting on their behalf for a Lead UX / UI Designer. This is the first hire for a brand new team and you will be responsible for leading all UX/UI design activity across a number of technology platforms, both web and mobile. You will relish the opportunity to implement a new method of working and own the department end to end as well as recruit new members for your UX team. We are seeking a hands on UX specialist with a focus and passion for the customer journey and you will ensure a consistent and fantastic user experience across all of our clients platforms. You will also have a passion for working closely with Data Analytics to help improve and enhance the experience online as well as researching and implementing new tools and technologies for all things UX/UI. If you would like to work in a fast paced, dynamic, agile environment and have complete autonomy and responsibility for a brand new team this is a perfect role for you Skills required: Experienced in working to tight deadlines and able to adjust to changing demands at short notice. A passion for a slick, clean and exceptional user experience and customer journey An appreciation of the importance of data analytics and how this can be used in UX/UI A strong verbal and written communicator, good with people and highly interactive. Design / prototyping of applications from start to finish, both web and mobile ideally Design and implement feasible solutions to satisfy user needs Personal participation in professional development and training programmes Experience taking ideas and turning them into mock-ups & wireframes Comfortable using UX Design tools (Photoshop, Illustrator, XD) A willingness to work within a dynamic, agile environment ROLE: Lead UX Designer LOCATION: Cheltenham, Gloucestershire SALARY: £70,000 - £90,000 Please contact Joely Callaghan at Synchro to explore this fantastic exclusive opportunity further or apply through this job posting and we will be in touch shortly.
