We have an opportunity for a 'Hands-on' Technical Infrastructure Analyst to join the vibrant and agile Infrastructure Services Team. This is an exciting opportunity for someone who would like to work flexibly in a small, multi-skilled team and has the ability to work out-of-hours on a regular basis. Reporting into the Infrastructure Services Manager, you will undertake the provision of IT support and systems administration to all users of the organisation's IT systems and services. Your involvement will also include: Assisting with the desktop application process, Supporting local and/or wide area networks and IT security and telecommunications, Implementing new applications, Ensuring upgrades to existing applications and systems are done in accordance with the Change Control policy, Administering the creation of new system users and permission changes, Assisting with the creation of IT related policies, Ensuring agreed targets are met when responding to helpdesk requests, Supporting the implementation and testing of the IT DR/Business Recovery Plans. Having experience in Infrastructure disciplines you will hold the following key skills: Knowledge of Windows 7 and Windows 10 Operating systems, Windows Server 2012/2016 experience, Printer and desktop PC trouble shooting experience, Network Cabling and switches knowledge. You will have excellent verbal and written communication skills, a high level of attention to detail and accuracy with excellent organisational and time management skills in order to manage business expectations. You will be resilient, tactful and professional when dealing with confidential issues. A minimum of GCSE Mathematics and English Grade A-C or equivalent is an essential requirement of this role. Please note that this position will involve some physical lifting of equipment.
