Overview
Technical Consultant/IT Systems Administrator Wolverhampton Area £28,000 - £30,000 Our Wolverhampton based client is recruiting for an experienced Technical Consultant/IT Systems Admin, with knowledge of software applications and cloud/hosted environments. This role will fit within the Operations Team and work alongside Developers, Consultants and Support colleagues, right from the initial stages through to delivery and aftercare support. The role will involve: Carrying out troubleshooting and performance diagnostics for both onsite and hosted applications Assisting the support team with escalated 2nd/3rd line server and infrastructure queries Monitor and manage cloud resources Respond and adapt to new technologies and processes within the rapidly changing industry Identifying opportunities to improve and develop processes, using alerting/monitoring and performance tools Skills & knowledge required: Microsoft Windows Server & Desktop Operating Systems. Microsoft SQL Server and\or similar query languages. Exposure to Cloud Technology - Azure, Office 365 Knowledge of core networking technologies, communications, windows server systems and firewalls Excellent communication skills and comfortable with direct client contact Experience of supporting with Microsoft Dynamics NAV/Business Central would be highly advantageous, as would knowledge of Powershell or alternative scripting languages.
