I got stuck into the day to day tasks, which I wouldn’t be able to do if worked for a much larger company. There have been many challenges which I have overcome with the help of my colleagues. It has been clear MCFT cares about their people and tries to develop each individual the best they can. I have been enrolled in the Leadership Academy as well as looking after the North Region by myself. This has helped me grow as a person and find confidence in what I do. I feel I have matured and that I am more skilled, and more hopeful about my future as this internship so far has ticked all the boxes that I wanted to achieve this year. I look forward to using what I have learnt in the future.’’ - Zgora, Operations Intern "My Internship so far has been great. I’ve been given so much responsibility and have been made to feel like a real valued member of the team. We are encouraged to come up with new ideas or processes within the business, if there’s an opportunity to improve anything we currently do, we’re encouraged and supported to run with it. There are also many others in development roles, not just interns, which means there’s always people to talk to who are having similar experiences and you never feel out of place. This also shows the company’s passion towards training and developing their staff, you’re provided with lots of opportunities to learn from the senior management team through training sessions led by them. You are always busy and gaining truly valuable experience, something you may not gain from a larger corporation where you may fade into the background and hear stories of only being responsible for making cups of tea. To get the most possible out of an internship both through learning new things and the experience, MCFT is the place to be." -Arran, Accounts Intern Still keen?
