Overview
LOCATION: Peterborough, Cambridgeshire TYPE: Full Time, Permanent SALARY: £30-35,000 About the Role: This role will have varied disciplines for one or more key clients including preparing service charge accounts, undertaking audit assignments and managing junior team members in order to meet the client’s needs. The role will also entail involvement with practice and workflow management for the wider team. The role will be split 65% productive (working on key client portfolios) and 35% internal (managing workflow of the team and reviewing processes and controls). Requirements: The ideal candidate will be ACCA or ACA fully qualified and have solid accounting experience, ideally obtained within practice. Knowledge of service charge accounting would also be an advantage. Experience of working with IRIS or Xero would be preferential, but not essential, however, strong management, communication and organisational skills are necessary. You should have experience of managing and controlling workflows in a practice environment as well as being confident working alone and also as part of a team. The ability to work under pressure to deadlines and respond promptly to requests is required. The ideal candidate will be proficient in Outlook and Word, as well as Microsoft Excel to an advanced level.
