Overview
Interim Management Accountant opportunity. Your new company A global market leading business based in Dumfries is seeking an interim Management Accountant for approximately 6 months Your new role As interim Management Accountant, you will be reporting into the Financial Controller, to provide detailed review and analysis of the financial systems to facilitate automation and development in order to provide accurate and timely management information. Additional key responsibilities will include: Budget preparation for local business activities Preparation and control of monthly business forecasts. Control local Chart of Accounts and integration with European Chart of Accounts. Preparation of monthly:- Sales / Cost of Sales / Expenses journals etc. Reconciliation of monthly raw material stock and purchase variance accounts Assistance with the audit process and communication with the audit team. Assist European Finance function as required General support of finance team and involvement in special projects as required Management and oversight for two finance staff members. What you'll need to succeed You will ideally be a CIMA qualified Accountant, with relevant Management Accounting experience gained corporate, commercial organisations. Analytically minded, you will possess strong problem solving skills, together with a good understanding of production/inventory control. A strong systems user, you will have advanced Microsoft Excel and Access skills. You will be an excellent communicator, with the ability to communicate effectively at all levels. What you'll get in return This is an interim role for approximately 6 months. Full time hours of work, Monday - Friday. Salary up to £40,000 dependent on skills, experience and qualifications.
