Job Description Takes responsibility for the definition, documentation and execution of multiple projects or single larger/more complex projects, actively leading all phases of the project. Identifies, assesses and manages risks to the success of the project. Lead team, scope problems and liaise with suppliers both internal and external. Ensure that all activities comply with relevant Operating model procedures, including Service Management, Project Lifecycle Methodology, InfoSecurity, Audit & Control Standards. Owns overall responsibility for project delivery that is on-schedule, within budget and delivers an outcome that is outlined in the approved Scope. Effectively estimates and manages costs and project expenditure, timescales and resource requirements. Proactively escalates risks & issues and facilitates dialog that addresses complicated project level issues. Responsible for stakeholder management that communicates plans, priorities, and project status to relevant stakeholders, steering committee, executive sponsor, and project team. Reports and maintains key information on the current status of all projects and provides project visibility to management in a common and consistent manner Manages the change control procedure for major changes, gaining agreement for revisions to the production environment from business system owners. Facilitate release planning based on roadmap priorities, available capacity and dependencies Ensures that projects are closed out and, where appropriate, subsequently reviewed, and that lessons learned are captured and actioned. Produces appropriate documentation to support these processes. Define, agree and implement process improvements based on project delivery performance Influences the establishment and development of project delivery processes and tools with the PMO. Qualifications Technical or other degree (or equivalent) Practical experience of PRINCE2 / PMP / Scrum (or equivalent) Several years’ experience full life cycle delivery of retail, corporate and infrastructure based projects. Experience working within a variety of project delivery frameworks and methodologies. Proven experience of working with 3rd parties - Onshore, offshore, near shore. Detailed knowledge and experience in managing IT related business projects which involve multiple activities and streams of people from both IT and business teams, in a fast paced dynamic organization. The ability to use automated tools to assist in the project management process, by automating mechanical tasks such as scheduling, resource balancing, and time recording e.g. Microsoft Project, Jira Knowledge of online gambling & gaming industry desirable Additional Information Demonstrates sense of passion and pride about own work.
