Pastry Chef, Monday to Friday, City Company Information- My client is a leading banking head office for 900 people based at their west end kitchen. This highly prestigious site are going through a restructure and looking to bring in a pastry chef de partie to compliment she pastry section. The catering operation consists of staff dining, hospitality and fine dining. The A la carte menu is a Modern British/European cuisine and changed monthly with chefs specials and chef table for max 10 guests. The kitchen is fully equipped with all the top of the range kitchen equipment a chef could ever wish for. As pastry chef you will be reporting to the head chef, working within a brigade of 3 talented chefs. With a strong emphasis on fresh, seasonal produce candidates must be dynamic, enthusiastic and passionate. You will be producing anything from afternoon tea, fine dining plated desserts for lunch and dinner service. The ideal pasty chef will be have experience within a rosette or Michelin star restaurant or similar contract catering site that is looking for a better life balance but also wants to stay in quality fine dining .
