Sous Chef Oxfordshire- Outskirts of Oxford £33-£35K basic tip share of around £3,000 We are looking to recruit a seasoned and passionate Sous Chef for one of Oxford's most visited, popular, destination gastro pubs just a short drive from OX1. Independently owned, this favored eatery has a fully fresh menu featuring pub classics, executed very well, coupled with more restaurant level dishes to an AA Rosette standard. They also have a daily specials menu put together based on what amazing produce their local suppliers have to offer. Working in a open plan kitchen and supporting their award winning Head Chef, you will be a vital part of the management team and will continue to drive the quality standards forward working in a brigade of 8. This is a busy operation, tables turn all day and weekly covers on average sit at around 1500-2000. We are looking for a Sous Chef for this Oxfordshire gastro that has experience in a modern kitchen and who can help develop the menu and food offering. A background cooking in a restaurant type environment using fresh produce is a must. Working around 50 hours per week, they are looking to pay a base salary of £33-£35K tip share.
