This is a fantastic contract which focuses on ensuring more people who have mental health conditions can overcome them and stay in work. We provide people with a flexible and personalised package of face-to-face and online support. What you will be doing Your key responsibilities will be: To conduct an initial holistic assessment with your participant to ascertain and agree delivery of their work-related support needs To develop a Support Plan of solution focussed interventions, focusing on helping your participant to cope with work while they manage a mental health condition Support your participant to learn more about their mental health, understand how to access treatment, and connect with other people and support organisations Deliver non-clinical interventions such as resilience building, motivational interviewing, CBT techniques and Counselling skills Provide ongoing face to face and telephone support helping your participant to manage their health more independently and effectively Educate your participants employer, as appropriate, to enable them to provide support to the individual in their workplace Why join us? You will need to have your own car as you will be meeting your participants out and about in their local areas and sometimes their place of work. You must be a qualified health care professional and where applicable be registered and/or accredited with the relevant professional body. In addition, you must have a minimum of 1 year’s relevant background and recent experience of working with people with mental health issues and conditions. If you have limited experience do not worry as you will be supported throughout your time with us.
