Overview
GCS are working with a world renowned Pharmaceuticals / Life Sciences organisation who are looking for a Life Sciences Business Analyst role working within the Science and Enabling Units IT and will be supporting two initiatives within the Patient Safety/Pharmacoviligence domain areas. The project will be working on applying structured/automated authoring to key regulatory materials in addition to developing innovative robotic and cognitive automation within pharmacovigilance processes. This role will join a global team focused on delivering both the Smarter Pharmacovigilance Agreements structured authoring project and the next phase of Adverse Event case handling automation, as part of a planned multi-year programme. The Business Systems Analyst will have responsibility of liaising between the technology providers and locally and regionally-based business stakeholders to elicit, analyze and document different levels of requirements (business requirements through to detailed technical specifications) and provide a clear line of sight from elicited requirements through to phased system roll-out and testing. Skills: Experience of Pharmacovigilance. Documentation of elicited user/functional requirements and traceability artifacts. Collaborating with architecture to finalize infrastructure and non-functional requirements. Working as part of a cross functional team, including business stakeholders and quality managers Significant project delivery and business analysis experience. Familiarity with business analysis professional best practices IIBA/BCS certification highly desirable. Influencing and Innovation skills.
