Overview

We are seeking an experienced insight and data analytics lead with strong knowledge of Enterprise Finance and Procurement functions, ideally gained within a global enterprise organisation. You will be required to own Insights and Analytics BI solution delivery for the Finance, Procurement functions. Engaging with stakeholders & understanding the strategy, processes and day to day operations of the functions, this person will be able to support current demand but also be able to proactively work with the respective business partners to identify new opportunities to apply insights and analytics capabilities. The objective is to turn the business into a data driven organisation. Key responsibilities; Own the development, implementation and standardisation of business analytics and KPIs within the Insight and Analytics function for Finance and Procurement. Lead workshops, requirement gathering, and creation of business requirements documentation. Lead the prioritisation of analytics (that will answer key business questions) with stakeholders (in both central functions and within the regions) Work closely with those senior stakeholders to present findings back on a regular basis, preparing relevant written analysis and making effective use of data visualisation to “tell the story” Interpret business questions into formal data questions that can be answered using data analytics Be capable of seeing the bigger picture, able to envision and articulate a complete end-to-end data flow to both technical and non-technical audiences Skills required; 5 Years’ experience of as insight and data analytics lead working with the Finance and Procurement function. Strong data modelling, data management and advanced analytics using relevant software. Proven use of high-end models, such as Arima forecasting, multiple linear regression, dimension reduction, random forest modelling (including boosting), support vector machines, K Means, Expectation maximization, collaborative filtering etc. Ability to perform data mining, blending large datasets from various Perform divisions to enhance reporting Ability to gather requirements, test strategies, design deliverables and define best practices and procedures for the group. Ability to build strong relationships at senior levels in the business both vertically and laterally and to influence and be persuasive at all levels. Entrepreneurial spirit and high commitment, determination, resilience as well as quality and cost awareness Strong data analysis skills Desirable skills; Experienced in enterprise architecture, business information modelling, cloud technologies, ETL, data warehousing and system design. Prior experience will include Enterprise Data Warehousing (EDW) and Enterprise Resource Planning (ERP) implementations across disparate systems where the candidate has played a lead role in solution architecture etc. In-depth understanding as well as experience on Supply Chain and Manufacturing project implementations of Enterprise Information Management technologies (e.g. Informatica, SAP, Oracle etc).
