Kitchen Design Consultant, Swansea, £18,000 Basic Salary Commission (£30k-£40k OTE) My client, a leading Kitchen retailer based in Swansea is looking to recruit a Kitchen Design Consultant into their showroom team. You will work in a team of Kitchen Design Consultants, providing excellent levels of customer service to customers and guiding their journey from enquiry through to sales completion and instillation. You will join an established brand who pride themselves on quality product and service. The ideal candidate will be able to drive and will have previous experience of working in a Kitchen Design capacity. Role Profile · A demonstrable ability to design and sell kitchens to the complete satisfaction of our customers · The ability to drive referral business from your existing client base · The motivation to achieve targeted sales and profit figures · You will also develop the Trade side of our business via trade contacts and network with builders, architects and interior designers · You will form effective relationships and secure business with our Retail customers · Ensuring your service levels meet the company’s requirements · Effectively engaging with our consumers and trade professionals alike · The ability and self-motivation to proactively seek out new business opportunities and growth Requirements · Strong commercial acumen ideally from within a consumer facing industry · Extensive sales experience preferably within the kitchen industry · Experience of working with both Retail and Trade customers and the capability to understand and empathise with their differing needs · An understanding and belief in the benefits of design excellence. The ability to design kitchens large and small, on a CAD package. Experience of CAD Design is a positive advantage, although full training will be provided · Strong negotiation skills with a great work ethic and a “can do” approach · Demonstrable experience in new business generation · Car owner with full UK driving licence Rewards · Competitive basic salary with OTE of £30k – £45k and a realistic opportunity to earn a substantial performance related bonus · We are providing an excellent opportunity to work with one of the country’s largest manufacturer of kitchens with an enviable reputation for quality and service built over almost 40 years of trading · They have exciting plans to take their well-established business and teams to new levels
