EL/PL Solicitor
Overview
My client are a top tier law firm. They are a leader in the defendant market and they are seeking an EL/PL Solicitor to join their office in Liverpool. The duties of the EL/PL Solicitor will be to effectively manage and provide a partner with assistance on a caseload of local authority litigation in a range of areas to include:- Stress at work Bullying and harassment Human rights Data protection Education claims Historical claims against children's services/social services involving duty of care and vicarious liability issues You will also specialise in acting on behalf of various local authorities, claims handlers and insurers, protecting their interests. Your caseload will consist of litigated and pre-litigated claims The successful EL/PL Solicitor will have: 3 years PQE Experience of handling/assisting on litigation against local authorities is preferableExcellent knowledge of the CPR and litigation Excellent communication skills My client can offer a competitive salary alongside excellent benefits.
