Overview
Compliance Analyst - International Law Firm A leading international law firm is recruiting a Compliance Analyst for their global compliance team, working in a central team advising on a mix of AML, Client Due Diligence, and Conflicts matters. What will you be doing? You’ll be joining the firm’s central compliance team (15-strong, with full junior support) here in London, where you’ll be analysing new matters and clients across all practice areas in accordance with current regulation, and advising internal stakeholders how they should best practice. Responsibilities include: Conducting AML checks and determining beneficial ownership, both simplified and enhanced Conduct risk assessments on new incoming business Perform conflict checks, determining scope and where potential conflicts may arise Work with internal departments to ensure the firm is delivering checks in a timely and accurate manner Working on other duties as requested, such as informational barriers, supporting internal training, answering any specific compliance queries Perks: You’ll receive world-class training on compliance matters, and you’ll have the opportunity to be crossed-trained into any areas you may have a gap in your knowledge. Overtime is there to cover backlogs, but not expected and is paid well. What you need: You’ll have at least one year’s compliance experience within a law firm, and will have ideally performed enhanced due diligence on more high-risk matters/looked into matters with a complex ownership structure. You will also ideally have a law degree (LLB or GDL).
