Overview
Our client, a national services company, is looking to recruit an in-house litigation lawyer in Essex (near the M25) for their legal team. The Role The role is to include: Dealing with, researching and advising on litigation matters, including: pre-action matters; claimant and defence work; preparing for trials; drafting correspondence and Court documents; negotiations and settlements; and enforcement. Matters include complex matters, small claims, fast track and multi-track matters. Advising on data protection laws and regulations (including GDPR), handling data protection matters, supporting the data protection team and ensuring compliance with the ICO. Other legal matters. The role is from NQ and is to support and report to the Group Head of Legal. Ideally, the candidate’s experience will include working on both litigation and data protection matters.
