Overview
I am currently working on behalf of a market leading care provider that is currently seeking to appoint an Area Manager to join their management team covering the London area. My client is looking for an Area Manager who can provide inspirational leadership, development and direction across this service area, ensuring the achievement of operational excellence and compliance that maximise people, quality and business outcomes. I am looking to speak with candidates who are currently in a multisite role, are passionate about supporting those with Learning Disabilities and Complex needs and who are inspirational leaders. You must be enthusiastic and have proven results in delivering great quality services and motivational leadership. If this sounds like you then please get in touch Duties will include: Working closely with the Regional Director to support the development and further growth of a fantastic quality and person-centred region. Create a clear, effective and regular two-way communication across your area, so that all colleagues understand and support the delivery of the business plan, achievement of its objectives, and delivers against the providers mission and values Ensure all staff, including direct reports, are managed and supported to perform at their best through regular 1:1s, annual reviews, and coaching. Area Manager - skills required: Have a proven track record of working at a similar Area Management level within residential or supported living services Have worked with and have extensive knowledge of learning disabilities and autism and other conditions associated with the client group Experience of developing strong relationships with the people we support, families, staff and others built on trust and respect Ability to manage and motivate individuals and teams to achieve high levels of performance Strong knowledge of Care Standards and Care Act 2014, safeguarding, DOLS/MCA and regulatory frameworks Holds NVQ Level 5 or equivalent Due to the location of the services it's really important you are able to drive.
