Join this large regional independent office in their Leek office to manage a portfolio of clients. Your new A reputable firm of Chartered Accountants with multiple offices across the Cheshire, North Wales & Shropshire region are seeking an experienced Portfolio Manager / Senior Accountant to join their Leek office. This opportunity has arisen due to retirements within the team which has created the need for someone to manage the portfolio. Part time and full time working hours can be considered. Your new job As a Portfolio Manager, based in their Leek office, you will join a busy and fast paced team. In this client facing role you will support the partner with the delivery of compliance and advisory services for a portfolio of clients. Day to day duties will include preparation and review of statutory accounts for SMEs, preparation of monthly and quarterly management accounts, tax compliance and other ad hoc projects such as due diligence assignments and management consultancy. Supervisory duties will include taking a lead on the client relationship, reviewing the work and training the juniors. What you'll need to succeed The firm are seeking an ACA / ACCA qualified accountant who has gained some post qualified experience. As this role is client facing and encompasses staff management duties you must be able to demonstrate strong communication skills and good time management. The firm are seeking an ambitious and passionate accountant looking to progress their career in a fast paced modern accountancy firm. Part time and full time options are considered.
