Robert Walters: Audit and Accounts Manager I am currently recruiting for an Audit and Accounts Manager , on a permanent basis within the Central Birmingham area's for a for a business offering fantastic flexible working, offering career progression and development for up and coming individuals in the practice space to move forward their career in a dynamic and forward thinking organisation , the salary for bracket for this position is £40,000 to £47,000 per annum depending on experience. Ideal Candidate: The ideal candidate for this position will be from a small practice background, they will have experience in audit and accounts and looking to be an up and coming individual with fresh ideas in the field Duties of Audit and Accounts Manager: Plan audit and accounts jobs on the central planner ensuring the most efficient use of resources Oversee successful completion of audit and accounts jobs ensuring team members are assisted and supported where needs arise Review all completed jobs as required, providing feedback to team members as appropriate Liaise with Directors to ensure the completion of jobs is accurate and timely Ensure audit reports, accounts and corporation tax documents are filed to the relevant authority by the due date Maintain effective communication, with all the interested parties on each job continually monitor progress of all jobs and adapt the original plan as required Carry out the management function responsibility for taking responsibility for a team of 12 Attend marketing and networking events Provide all one to one training Ensure that staff require the essential on the job training Requirements of Audit and Accounts Manager: ACA, ACCA or CTA qualified Self-motivated, efficient and hard-working Experience managing teams Have used IRIS (preferable) Able to keep up to date with audit and accounting legislation and attend courses The ideal candidate for this position will be personable, have a strong commercial acumen and advanced Excel skills.
