Overview
This market-leading software organisation is seeking an experienced .NET Developer to work on a fully remote basis in the UK. The .NET developer will be designing and developing both web and cloud-based .NET software applications, that are utilised by over half a million global customers every day. The business is continuing an impressive international growth strategy and the team has a significant amount of exciting greenfield work available. As a .NET Developer, you will be working in one of six small agile teams, delivering to fortnightly sprints and will be exposed to the full software development cycle. As this is a fully remote role, communication is essential. You must be able to demonstrate a proactive approach to keep the team informed. This is a full-stack role so you will need excellent back-end skills with C# .NET and SQL and solid front-end skills with pure JavaScript (Vanilla JavaScript). Ideally, you will have worked with Microservices and .NET Core. You will also need to be an experienced software developer who can demonstrate the personal competencies required to manage your time and work effectively on a completely remote basis. Essential skills: Minimum 4-5 years' experience designing and developing web-based C# .NET applications Solid MS SQL server skills Excellent front-end JavaScript skills (TypeScript or similar JS superset) Ideally, experience with .Net Core and Microservices Must have the personal competencies required to work on a remote basis (communications skills, organisation, self-motivated etc).
