Role Outline The person in this role is responsible for the development, administration and ongoing maintenance of Allegis Group In-house applications and Allegis Group Onboarding Tools. Collaborates with analysts and engineers to design and create quality systems. Contribute to all phases of the software development life cycle including; analysis, design, coding, testing and documentation. Interfaces between IS developers and Analysts to ensure that systems designs meet the needs of end users. Understands and identifies issues, assesses root causes and proposes solutions to deficiencies. Maintains relationships with Analysts to support current products and future improvements. Working within planned and agreed time scales to deliver all tasks and problems within an Agile environment. Core Responsibilities Work within an Agile Software Development Lifecycle environment; SCRUM and KANBAN. The team will develop Sprint story points. Follow requirements specified by business/systems analyst(s) and designs by the Enterprise/Solution Architects or Lead Developer(s). Develop high-quality, maintainable and efficient code in line with current development guidelines as set out by the development team. Perform unit, functional and integration testing of the code within the release cycle - Test Driven Development. Create and update new and existing test scripts in selected tools (i.e. Team Foundation Server). Compose technical documentation where required, of new or updated feature for sharing knowledge across technical team. Monitor and respond to calls within the Ticket Management System. You should be a good communicator at a technical level, analytical and able to understand and present complex solutions and explain issues within the technical team. Collaborate with the Global Development and Support teams on Allegis Global initiatives. Support, co-ordinate and work with IT team and/or any other external parties to resolve Application and/or infrastructure issues. Ensuring Service Quality levels are maintained. Skills: Technical experience with the following technologies Experience with REST APIs, both building and integrating with. Working knowledge of the .NET Framework, C# and Visual Studio. Event Driven Architecture. Ability to adapt to changes and ambiguity within the workplace High level of detail and process orientation Strong written and verbal communication skills Understanding of Agile methodologies, a plus A fast learner with strong troubleshooting/analytical skills Behaviours Strong customer service background Technical and analytical aptitude Team Focused Excellent interpersonal and relationship building skills Self-Motivation/Self Starter Excellent Organizational Acumen.
