Overview

Coordinates daily transportation activities and procedures to ensure timely delivery, customer satisfaction and cost saving. Acts as coordination function for placing of Orders for both Sub Contractors and Material suppliers. Based in Verwood location Job title: Logistics/Procurement Admin Job Description: Capita Networking Solutions is looking for a Logistics Coordinator based in Verwood You will be responsible for organising and providing efficient service and solutions for the entire life cycle of our products, from acquisitions of orders to final production distribution. They should be able to ensure efficient supply chain operations, and promptly resolve any distribution issues. Collate, upload and manage invoicing and purchase orders following business approval chains, and deal with any risks and /or delays as required. They will be responsible for maintaining databases and liaising with internal and external customers as necessary. KEY RESPONSIBILITIES Coordinate and monitor supply chain operations Ensure premises, assets and communications are used effectively Supervise orders and arrange stocking of materials and equipment as per the business needs Communicate with suppliers, retailers, customers, staff to ensure end to end order to delivery You will highlight delays or escalates issues where necessary to relevant members of staff You will liaise with resourcing and other departments to obtain necessary information to resolve queries You will take responsibility to update and monitor any queries through to completion, ensuring processes are completed to a high standard You will make appropriate decisions and uses judgement on work prioritisation ensuring expectations on service delivery and risk can be met You will identify process issues and opportunities for continuous improvement Adhere to the risk management policies and is aware of changes in the businesses approach to risk management KEY SKILLS You will be proficient in Microsoft Office You will have a proven track record of high accuracy with an eye for detail Excellent planning and organisational skills. Able to work under significant pressure and to tight deadlines. A highly motivated and driven individual Good with people Ability to work with little supervision and track multiple processes Experience in customer service
