Overview
Do you have significant experience working in practice accounting? Are you looking for a stable and secure role with tons of flexibility and possible part time options? Our client, a highly regarding practice in Cheltenham is looking for an Assistant Accountant on either a full time or part time basis. Working in a small and friendly team, the post holder will be responsible for year end, bookkeeping, and on boarding of new clients. Additionally you will be responsible for mentoring more junior members of the team and using your broad skills and knowledge to provide a superior service to a variety of interesting and exciting clients. We are looking for a highly experienced accounts professional who can demonstrate working within practice accounting. In addition you will have a good balance of being professional and having a sense of humour and will be equally motivated by a job well done for your clients and seeing the success of other team members. This is a collaborative and friendly team who are looking for a strong team player with excellent communication skills and a high work ethic. Our ideal candidate will be AAT qualified to at least level 3, however candidates qualified by experience will be considered as long as it is within practice accounting.
