Overview
Due to expansion and acquisition of a large client, I am looking to recruit an experienced individual with a working knowledge of Accounts Prep, Personal and Corporation Taxation and VAT returns, focussing on high net worth individuals and trading companies with turnovers up to £25m, for a well-established firm of accountants based in the heart of Brighton. This is an ideal opportunity for a candidate looking to join a small/medium practice with a friendly family style, who are able to offer their staff training and support to build on their current knowledge. The firm is looking for someone that is looking for a career move, whereby they can offer the successful candidate a route through to partnership at a point in the future. Full study support will also be provided for ACCA or ACA exams. Senior Accountant skills required: Statutory accounts (FRS102/105) Sustaining and building a portfolio of clients Corporation Tax and Personal Tax Monthly management accounts including Balance Sheet and Profit and Loss reconciliations Processing journals and finalising accounts The opportunity to partake in audits Senior Accountant benefits include: 25 days holiday plus bank holidays Full study support in ACCA/ACA Performance bonus annually (Up to 10%) Staff social events including go karting and sports days Perkbox including shopping vouchers, discounted cinema tickets and gym memberships The ideal Senior Accountant: At least 2 years experience in a UK Accounting Practice At least part qualified ACCA/ACA Studier Must be looking for career progression Good written and spoken communication skills Position: Senior Accountant Salary: £30,000 - £36,000, excellent benefits package and full study support Location: Brighton
