Overview

Ensuring effective importing and integration of client data into the company's QFM software working with the development team and Data Architect. The Database Analyst will be accountable for achieving high levels of client satisfaction through superb attention to detail, strong analytical skills, proactive communication and the provision of all contracted deliverables on time and within budget as part of the Client Services Team. In addition, you will be responsible for developing & testing the data importing processes & for testing data sets once imported. Degree in a Science discipline, Computer Science/Maths or equivalent Highly numerate with excellent analytical, logical and problem-solving skills, consistently solutions focused Strong self-sufficiency and initiative able to take on a long-term challenge but with good team working skills across multiple departments Good written and verbal IT and business communication skills Positive attitude with strong presence and ability to influence and motivate Experience of using Crystal Reports 9/11/13 Transactional SQL experience including stored procedures and views etc Excel skills including advanced formulas, VBA and Macros Highly self-motivated, accountable and committed, with well-developed decision-making skills Excellent organisational skills, with ability to manage complex and conflicting client requirements or multiple tasks/projects Flawless communication and interpersonal skills; a high standard of both written and spoken English Summary of Responsibilities: Management of aspects of contracted client deliverables; 100% on time and quality including: Updating and delivery of all contracted data to agreed deadlines Updating and delivery of all contracted reports on time and aligned to databases Resolving any data issues Supporting clients with data queries Reviewing client data to validate and transform it into a format for importing into the QFM system Creating TSQL scripts to add, amend and delete data Maintaining the Data Import Tools in line with the current product releases Creating custom reports and lists Creating SQL views and stored procedures to accompany reports.
