Overview
We have some exciting new opportunities working as a Shunter for one of key rolling stock clients based in Birmingham on a competitive rate. As a Shunter you will oversee all train movements, radio control and full knowledge of the rule book. You will also be liaising with signallers and drivers which will assist you in plan to the works daily. As a Shunter you will be based on a 4 on/4 off shift pattern on night shift and this contract will a 3-month rolling contract, 12-hour shifts. Our client is looking for a Shunter who has prior experience controlling train movements. Preferably somebody who has also got an in date PTS and medical but not essential.
