Packaging Supervisor (Days Permanent position ) exciting opportunity to join a growing business at our new state-of-the-art chilled food facility currently being built in Peterborough dedicated to packing a range of imported fresh products for major Supermarket brand. (4 days on, 4 days off) am/ pm - £Circa 25K DOE and great Benefits include: Pension, sick pay, medical cover and paid holidays and bank holidays 12 Hour shifts - will need to be flexible to work 1 in every 4 weekends The Packing Supervisor will help monitor packaging usage and ordering alongside the Packaging Manager You will manage and direct the warehouse team and function delivering against daily and weekly targets & plans, safely and at below standard cost The ideal candidates must have previous Team leading or Supervisory experience in a similar role from either a Fresh Produce/ Food Production, Warehousing or manufacturing environment and be an approachable individual, willing to listen and actively encourage others to contribute to the success of the team with the ability to work independently and to carry out assignments to completion within parameters of instructions given, prescribed routines, and standard accepted practices It would be great if you hold a current MHE certificate (Counterbalance, Flexi or PPT) and have experience of stock control, however, this is not essential and will not affect your application. ?
