Are you an ambitious, dynamic Buyer with excellent knowledge of SAP, who thrives in a demanding Supply Chain environment? An exciting opportunity has arisen for a Senior Buyer to join the ranks of a well known FTSE 100 powerhouse. Your mission, should you choose to accept it, is to manage essential contracts which support specialist equipment installations. This will involve preparation of strategies and plans for procurement of materials and services; supplier selection and management; and identification/implementation of improvements delivering cost savings and value to the business. If you're a confident, articulate individual with a solid grounding in Procurement & Supply Chain, and are seeking rapid progression within a global blue chip, apply now. To be considered, you must: Have a minimum of 3-5 years' relevant Procurement/Supply Chain experience, ideally gained within the Defence & Aerospace sector, although Manufacturing, Engineering and other Supply Chain industries such as FMCG and Pharma are also of interest Possess comprehensive IT/systems knowledge, including exposure to SAP (proficiency in SuccessFactors a big advantage) Demonstrate first rate interpersonal and customer/supplier engagement skills Due to screening requirements, applications are restricted to British Citizens only
