Site Services /Plant Engineer Industry: Manufacturing Location: Nottingham Due to expansion of the site services team on a huge manufacturing site producing FMCG products. £41 – 44k Band plus 10% Pension and Package - its highly competitive Monday to Friday rotating pattern – NOT 12 HOURS As a site services engineer in a team of 6 , you will maintain and improve the fabric and make up of the site – it’s a big manufacturing site Including Site Services plant , equipment and systems , including HVAC , water systems, compressed air, boiler plant , utilities supply ,CMMS HVAC, refrigeration, plant, fabric, HRAD FM – there is a lot going on a massive site. You’ll be responsible for your own projects Monitor plant reliability, operational efficiency and capability, identifying improvements Use the CMMS to plan and complete work Propose and deliver improvements to maintenance plans, procedures and PPM activities You’ll have the freedom to make things run smoothly. You’ll: Maintain plant and machinery to a high standard - safe, reliable and efficient Troubleshoot and continually improve the performance of equipment Schedule maintenance to maximise service levels Does this sound like you? -Ideally a multiskilled, qualified engineer. Mechanical or electrical bias. You may come from a specialism, like refrigeration or HVAC. You may have come from the Marine or Naval background, or from a field service role. -Formal engineering apprenticeship or formal engineering qualification at Level 3. (NVQ Level 3 / HNC / ONC / City & Guilds) - Experience in an industrial environment - HVAC / boilers / water systems / effluent plant / steam / legionella / compressors/ Refurbishment / modifications / upgrades / maintenance / repairs -You will have the ability to balance the need to fix immediate problems with the mindset to plan future improvements -Keep up to date with new engineering technologies and find practical ways to apply your knowledge This job was originally posted as www.totaljobs.com/job/89933517
