Amazing opportunity available for a Frontend Developer with strong JavaScript skills to join a household name ecommerce company in Manchester city centre. The business relocated to a state of the art office in 2019. The platform receives almost 25 million unique monthly visitors, and the teams are responsible for over 40 products across the website so you will always something interesting to be getting involved with. The software development teams have recently migrated the platform to a modern cloud-based infrastructure and have created API service layers to power the sites. Now they’re creating a new team who will focus on the optimisation and personalisation of the customer journey so as a Senior Frontend Developer you’d be doing their most important work. As a Frontend Developer you’d be working on software seen by millions of people every week and would be given the chance to build brand new features from scratch using modern web technologies like Vue.js and Vuex. If you don’t have experience with these specific technologies, but exposure to other modern JS frameworks the client would still be interested in a conversation with you. Skills: JavaScript (inc. Vue.JS and Vuex) HTML, CSS, SASS, LESS Webpack, Gulp, Grunt Agile, CI/CD, BDD In return they’re looking to offer a starting salary of up to £45k plus benefits including annual bonus, 5% pension, 27 days holiday, private medical and dental cover, flexible working options (including working from home) and plenty more.
