Frontend Developer (React / Javascript) - Manchester city centre Salary: £40K DOE company share scheme Holidays: 30 days annually Perks: flexible hours and remote working options One of Manchester's leading travel businesses has entered a scale-up period and is now looking for a new Frontend Developer (React / Javascript) to join their internal team and assist them in the continuation of their success. The new Frontend Developer (React / Javascript) will be responsible for delivering coding excellence in their building of new, carefully crafted solutions. The role will include both greenfield projects, with involvement from the moment of specification, right through design, build, testing and maintenance, and also the updating and maintenance of existing internal systems. Reporting into the lead developer, you will be responsible for assisting in leading projects and collaborating with your team of in-house developers, agencies and freelancers. As Frontend Developer (React / Javascript) you will be constantly looking for new and innovative ways to solve problems using both your technical knowledge and your entrepreneurial and managerial skills. You will be given autonomy on which technologies are best for the job, and will be encouraged to bring new ideas to the table in order to deliver leading-edge software. A good selection of the following skills will be desired: Javascript, React and any other related libraries (Angular / Vue etc) HTML, CSS (SASS/LESS) Git Build tools such as Webpack, Gulp, Grunt Familiarity with PHP and/or frameworks ( Symfony, Yii etc) Website optimisation UX/UI CMS For more information and a full job spec, please apply here and we will contact you with all the necessary information you require.
