For this opportunity you will have the chance to help contribute to positive educational outcomes and the design and delivery of system development strategies and the management of change in support of the Trust's strategic and operational plans, providing timely, user friendly, accurate information. Other key areas of this role will include working with teams across the Trust, but particularly, with our data staff, Principals, Senior Leadership Teams, School Improvement and IT to support a programme of continuous performance improvement which helps the Trust achieve our strategic objectives (as described earlier) and our ambition as a high performing organisation. This position reports to the Chief Operating Officer with strong links to Senior Leadership Teams, School Improvement Teams and educational outcomes. Adopting an approach to support Trust education needs and goals by involving the right stakeholders to produce the information and analysis that enhances our educational objectives Taking responsibility for data and analysis across the whole Trust whilst allowing for local needs. Always understanding educational and organisational priorities and that needs may change over time. Maintaining and developing the data functions of the Trust to meet those needs now and in the future. Ensure the data team can support the Trusts educational goals and vision, so competently managing: Consolidating the processes of data capture, analysis and reporting across the Trust. Provide an agreed and consistent format of data access and analysis for all. Assess any changes or works required to systems and storage/access etc and prioritise delivery. Lead on GDPR matters across the Trust. Experience required: You will have previous and current experience of working to a similar level within a busy, proactive data function. Able to demonstrate up to date knowledge of theory and good practice in key areas: identifying and implementing data capture systems in a complex reporting environment, bringing data together from a variety of sources and able to create bespoke analysis for different stakeholders, understanding of current education policy and performance measures from Early Years to Key Stage 5, knowledge of national accountability measures. Track record in delivering successful projects and supporting educational organisations in order to achieve results. Experience of, and commitment to, continuous improvement and the ability to act as a change agent. Working knowledge of data systems is essential to this role. Experience in the use of computerised data systems, and demonstrable IT skills. Knowledge of GDPR regulations and organisations' responsibilities are required for this role. Skills Numeracy and ability to analyse quantitative and qualitative data. Advanced Excel and other data manipulation systems skills. Effective planning and project management skills with the ability to set and work to deadlines.
