Overview
IT Helpdesk Analyst - Warrington - £22,000 (inclusive of shift payment) My client is recruiting for an IT Helpdesk Analyst for the Business Operations & Service Delivery team based in Warrington. The role itself will involve taking calls and emails from clients, triage calls to the right department or trying to find a solution first before escalating to 2ndor 3rdline. In this B2B role the IT Helpdesk Analyst role you will deal with a large number of customers, acting as a dedicated first point of contact for all external software support issues. Experienced required: Proven experience within a Customer service management/service desk environment, ideally supporting software or general IT systems Previous experience of using Microsoft Office Strong communications skills, the ability to work on your own at times and uses your initiative ITIL or SDI accreditation would be a bonus You will have the ability to multitask and deal with ever-changing priorities in a fast-paced working environment. They measure the success on hitting SLA's/KPI's. Working to SLAs, you will need to investigate and resolve customers problems, ensuring that customers are satisfied and kept up to date on the progress of their ticket. You will use the tracking system to update and monitor progress as well as prioritise support issues and escalate where needed. In this role, you must be able to collaborate positively, have a passion to succeed, use your initiative at times, possess excellent communication qualities and use your strong sense of customer focus to exceed expectations, every day. There is a career path to move into a more technical team, such as networking team or more senior IT support teams within 18 months of being in this role. This is a shift-based position working 4 days on 4 days off with a combination of 2-day shifts and 2-night shifts (12-hour shifts - 7am-7pm and 7pm-7am).
