Are you an Assistant Engineering Manager or Engineering Team Manager at the top of your game? Working alongside the Engineering Manager as part of our manufacturing management team, you’ll engage and motivate a skilled team of up to 16 Engineers , utilising root cause analysis to identify and prioritise corrective, preventative, predictive and mitigating actions. You will have responsibility for engineering reliability and team development at one of our two Bolton based bakeries and will be expected to take on some aspects of dual site responsibility once you have become established in the role. As an Assistant Engineering Manager you’ll also be responsible for monitoring the budget and playing a part with the formation of revenue and capital budgets and plans. You’ll be able to deploy and execute a reliability centred asset care strategy Passionate about quality and best practice whilst driving continuous improvement You’ll have demonstrable experience of leading a maintenance engineering team and working in partnership with production teams Have experience of devising and implementing engineering improvement projects Have experience of fulfilment of Engineering legislative SHE requirements including PSSR , LOLER , Electricity at Work COSHH & HACCP.
